The Last Stand of The Wolverines

Here is a pictures than took me DAYS to complete!
This is a fan-art of the Novel serie "Orcs" or " Orcs: First Blood" by Stan Nicholls, than a friend of mine give me The Integral of the First Trilogie for Christmas.... ( it seem to have a second Trilogie, called "Orcs : Bad Blood" but I didnt read it... and It's less famous and critically acclaim than the First Trilogie)
And I adore that book! It was great!!!!

What's the story?

It focus on an Orc Warband called "The Wolverines" , considered some of the best soldiers of the Dark Queen Jennesta during her war against the Human race..... The story start as they recieve for mission to bring an ancient artefact form a Human settlement back to the Dark Queen at the end of a great battle.... But because of the use of cristal narcotic call Pellucid and the intervention of a bunch of Kobold Cavaliers, the Wolverines lost the artfact and start tracking down the Kobolds.... Jennesta, being the impatient egocentric bitch than she is, is convinced than the delay of the Wolverines is an act of treason and put a price on their heads..... Alone in the Wild, the Wolverines will be forced to go rogues and will start a quest to retake the artefact to maybe negociate their survival.... but will be soon be the center of huge conflict beyond everything they knew......

I decide to made this piece of art to honor that stry and the main protagonist, the leaders of the warband....

Strike: The main protagonist of the story and Captain of the warband. I found him a very neat protagonist.... He's a very skilled warrior but not a brute.... and he's also a charistmatic lead who keep the band together by his will and charisma.... He's also shown very worried for his soldiers and ready to do anything to save any of them.....

Jup: Only non-Orc member of the Wolverines, Jup is a Dwarf, which put him a lot in conflict with Haskeer, another leader of the Wolverines who trash talk him a lot due to the "opportunist" nature of his race.... But Jup is more than ready to prove in anyway his loyalty toward his brothers-in-arms.....

Alfray: Oldest member of the warband and the closest thing than the Wolverines have to a Medic. Alfrays is usually the main adviser of Strike and truelly belive in the traditions and the old faith of the Orcish race. He's also the Standard Bearer.....

Coilla: Only Female memeber of the band and it's newest memebr also... she's strong willing and bring usually a more fresh and optimistic vison on thing to Strike, who is a veteran who have an hard time to see the brighteste aspects of things..... she's quite skilles with throwing knives.....

Haskeer: A very dumb and intolerant brute but also one of the best fighter of the band.... he's usually an asshole ( especiallt toward Jup) but make up for it with his bravery and skills.....
