here a lil drawing that I made some lil time ago that I rememberd to ink just now....
it was inspired by "The Gardians of the Galaxy 2" , with Ego, the Living Planet....
I tried to make a Warhammer 40.000 version, with a demon being imprisonned by Eldrad Ulthuan himself and finding a way to fused with the ground of the moon where he was imprissoned in and shape it to his will, turning said moon into a Demon World, not bound by the laws of physics or reality but by the will of its new master and bein invested by minor demons, acting as the Anti-body cells of their former master...
WORST: when said moon ecplise either the sun or the other moon of its gravating world, rifts to the Immaterium open, allowing hordes of demons to ravage the land under the pale light of the moon....
I dont know if such story was done in the Warhammer 40.000 canon but I feel like it could be a great idea!
